Susie is originally from London, England and first laid the foundations for her career in the British television industry. She worked for Children's BBC where she hosted a lively podcast radio show. She also worked for other departments such as BBC Entertainment, History and Science on famous British TV shows.
While working in the television industry she gained many contacts and formed an independent production company, producing and presenting promotional advertisements and short documentaries all over East Africa for luxury safari companies. She then produced and presented promotional films for a Mediterranean luxury property brand, which introduced her to the elite global property market. Susie quickly found her forte in selling to high net worth (HNW) buyers looking to invest or find their perfect home.
Possessing excellent people skills, Susie decided to apply her talent for sales to the fast-paced Prime Central London property market, particularly in Kensington and Chelsea, Belgravia, Mayfair and Marylebone. She also set up her own marketing and sales consultancy, working for the businesses of her HNW contacts in the area. Susie managed the office of a long-established Kensington real estate agent for several years before moving to Washington, DC. Susie’s media and sales experience means that she instinctively understands her clients’ needs and she also has the presentation skills required to promote their properties to buyers.
After gaining licenses for Washington, DC, Maryland and Virginia Susie knew working with TTR Sotheby’s International Realty was her first choice because of its prestige and fantastic reputation. Susie is a results driven realtor and is ready to work hard to make sure her clients get the best possible deal and the highest level of service. She is very happy to be part of Fleur Howgill’s team and has all the energy and enthusiasm needed to help you find your ideal property.
When Susie isn’t zipping around town, she’s often found paddle boarding or kayaking with her husband on the Potomac River near their home in Georgetown. It’s important to her to give back to the local community, so she volunteers as a docent at Dumbarton House museum where the NSCDA works towards the cultural preservation of historical buildings. She’s always been passionate about dance and is part of a fantastic samba group based in Washington, DC. She also enjoys doing yoga and is a qualified instructor. Susie likes to relax by trying out new restaurants on the ever-evolving DC dining scene and is an adventurous world traveler. Last, but not least, Susie also indulges her creative and fashion designer urges by making beautiful, bespoke hats for special occasions.
